Champion’s League Group E (Wednesday Oct 03, 2023)
Atletico Madrid vs Feynoord Under 2.5 (+100):
When you think of Feyenoord, you probably think of overs and in Holland they’ve gone over in six straight matches. Meanwhile, Atleti have found their scoring boots of late. However, it tends to be in Diego Simeone’s DNA to play gritty defensive affairs in Europe. Both of these sides played under matches to open the group stage and we expect the same on Wednesday at the Metropolitano.
Lazio at Celtic:
On one hand, Maurizio Sarri’s side has been a huge disappointment so far this season. On the other, they’ve also gone to Naples and beaten Napoli. Last time out, Celtic kept it close against Feyenoord in spite of playing with nine men, while Lazio had a last gasp equalizer from goalie Ivan Provadel. We’re not touching this one.
Champions League Group F Matchday 2 fixtures
Dortmund vs Milan Over 2.5 (-135):
Milan has created plenty of xG this season and has been one of the best teams in Italy. The Rossoneri have gelled well and were unlucky not to score a few against Newcastle last time out. Their matches average over 3 goals per match in Italy. Meanwhile, Dortmund matches are averaging 3 goals per match in the Bundesliga. We’re taking the over.
PSG DNB (-105) at Newcastle:
Newcastle have started to round in to form after a rough start to the season. Meanwhile, PSG has the early season Mbappe transfer drama behind it. We’re big fans of Newcastle, but they haven’t played well against any of their best EPL opponents yet. For that reason, we’re going PSG DNB.
Group G – Champions League – 10-03-2023
Manchester City ML & Over 1.5 (+100) at Leipzig:
Leipzig matches usually mean goals and we expect a few here. Leipzig played City tough in last season’s round of 16 before getting trounced at the Etihad. Leipzig has been good this season, but after a tough draw against Bayen on the weekend, we think City has enough to take this one.
Crvena Zvezda vs Young Boys O2.5 (-130):
When you think of Crvena matches, you think overs. And both of these teams played four goals matches last time out–both losing 3-1. We’re expecting goals again in this one.
Group H – Wednesday Matchday 2 – Champions League 2023
Barcelona ML (-115) at Porto:
Porto is always tough in the UCL, but it’s not every day you get Barca at this number. The Spanish side is unbeaten this season and we expect them to continue that run across the Iberian peninsula in Portugal.
Shakhtar Donetsk at Royal Antwerp:
It’s tough to know which way to lean on Shakhtar with all that’s gone on over the last couple of years. And even though Antwerp may be the biggest unknown in this competition, we’re not touching this one.
