Week 10 College Football Betting – Midweek action in the MAC

Week 1 of MACtion was absolutely incredible.CMU upset NIU, Toledo dropping a 31er on Buffalo, Bowling Green and Ball state duking it out and then Akron and Kent scoring 58 points in a game where Vegas had the total at 39.5 (Rusty’s Riders took the over).

Week 2 we are blessed with 6 (yes you read that right, 6 MACtion games). Let’s get into it.

Tuesday night (November 7, 2023) College Football Betting MACtion

Ball State @ NIU

Boy I was wrong last week about NIU. They looked ugly against CMU. Ball State is 3-0 in the last 3 games ATS. They also beat CMU two weeks ago. So according to the transitive property they should straight up beat NIU.

The picks: Ball State +10.5 (1.5u) and ML (0.5u)

CMU @ WMU

CMU coming hot off the big upset as 6 point underdogs at NIU. How on earth is CMU the underdogs here? CMU is 5-4 vs WMU being 3-6. I think Vegas has the wrong MIchigan team favored here in this matchup. They will carry this momentum into WMU and take the win. I also expect this to be an absolute shoot out.

The picks: CMU +3 (1u); O56.5 (1u)

Ohio @ Buffalo

Ohio is on a 3 streak skid ATS including a straight up loss against Miami of Ohio. Buffalo is 3-2 ATS and SU in the last 5.The Ohio bobcats defense have been very dominant this season (excluding last week’s blunder). Buffalo’s defense isn’t quite as tough but they have been forcing allll types of turnovers this season. Weather is also going to be iffy (although sometimes I’m pretty sure weather isn’t real). This is a beautiful recipe for a 17-6 MACtion game.

The picks: Ohio -7 (1u); U44 (1U); Ohio ML/ BGSU ML parlay (1u)

BGSU @ Kent

Kent State may be one of the worst CFB teams of all time. BGSU is 4-1 in the last 5 SU. Kent State is 0-5 ATS and SU in the last 5. Don’t overthink this. BGSU should run Kent State out of the stadium.

The Picks: BGSU -8 (1u) ; looking to take the TTO as well but not yet posted at the time of writing this; BGSU/ Ohio ML parlay

Akron @ Miami of Ohio

Akron pulled out eh win last week in a thrilling 31-27 shootout with Kent State. Miami of Ohio is on an absolute tear this season @ 7-2 with the only real hiccup being losing to the MAC champs Toledo. This game will be an absolute slaughter. It will be a bloodbath. I do think Akron will be able to put a few points up as well.

The pick: Miami of Ohio -17 (1u); O43.5 (1u)

EMU @ Toledo

EMU is on a 2 game losing streak headed into The Death Valley of the Ohio area, Toledo. Toledo is just doing Toledo things and are 8-1 on the season. They have been absolutely smoking everyone. I don’t see EMU being the team to change that.
