A riveting North London Derby and Newcastle’s assault of Sheffield highlighted an exciting weekend of the Premier League.

It never fails to impress and we are back with another packed slate of matches.

Check out my favorite picks for EPL Week 7 below:

I’m 12-7 on the season, (63%) in EPL Betting

Everton-Luton 10:00am ET, Saturday

Once again, I am highlighting a match I would ask for those who enjoy watching the Premier League to steer clear of. I am going back to the well with these two clubs in the same manner as I have used them before this campaign and it has to do with their presence in the final third. Both lack the ability to punish either on a consistent basis in front of goal. Everton has certainly improved in the last few weeks with the addition of Beto and return of Calvert Lewin but I’m not suddenly expecting them to put away a massive amount of goals in front of their supporters at Goodison Park. This is a club who is scoreless at home so far this season and have failed to score more than one goal 15 of their last 16 fixtures there. On the other end, Luton are far from dangerous in front of goal, having only scored 4 goals in 5 matches. Their xG is bottom 5 in the league (having played one less than most) but still would not rank out that much better with their average xG. I expect a tight affair between these two as they both will play this with protecting their own goal first and foremost. Give me U2.5 goals and I expect something like a 2-0 Everton scoreline at most.

Nottingham Forest-Brentford 9:00am ET, Sunday

Neither of these clubs are having the brightest starts to the new season so matches like Sunday afternoon’s clash matter more and more as the season goes on if they want to finish higher up the table. Forest certainly will feel the better of the two and find themselves back at home at the City Ground, which has quietly turned into a fortress. Steve Cooper’s side have got at least one point in 16 of their last 21 home matches. Brentford’s only win on the season came away to Fulham, who are far from the same team they were last season. The suspension of Toney has proven to be treacherous for the Bees and Thomas Frank. I trust that they can find a  way as the season goes on because they are one of the best run clubs in the Premier League but I am not sure this match will be their jumping off point. A draw is certainly looming in a match such as this and I will protect myself from that possibility with Nottingham Forest Pk.

Bonus Bets: Tottenham-Liverpool O3.5

This match has the potential to be one of the most exciting matches of the season thus far because of the attacking acumen of both of these clubs. Postecoglou”s Tottenham will never let off the gas no matter who the opponent is, as seen last week at the Emirates, and we know Liverpool will try to push for goals as they always do. Expect to see loads of goals in this one and something like a 2-2 draw feels about right.
