2-8 Akron has been incredibly horrible this year, most recently getting shut out by the powerhouse Miami of Ohio. The 4 win EMU crew is currently on a 3 game losing streak. This game is UGLLLLLY. Let’s hope we see a MACtion upset to start our week.

Toledo @ BGSU

The 9-1 Toledo Rockets have been on an absolute tear this year just absolutely dominating every team they’ve faced so far. Their only loss came from Illinois. On the other side of the hall Bowling Green is 6-4 at this point but they are on a 4 game win streak including some dominating wins scoring over 40 in 2 of those wins. This game should be an absolute shootout but I still love Toledo to dominate.

The pick: Toledo -10 (1u); O52 (2u); Toledo TT Over (1u) – line isn’t posted at this point of writing but I will take it up to 35.

WMU @ NIU

The battle of the 4-6 teams goes down late Tuesday night. WMU is hot on a 2 game winning streak, meanwhile NIU is on a 2 game losing streak after previously being on a 3 game winning streak. Both of these teams’ offenses are incredibly high powered as well. These games are so unpredictable that they can be hard to predict but I’m going to invest in the principle of picking the hotter team.

Buffalo has been very underwhelming this year after many journalists considered them a dark horse to win the MAC this year. Meanwhile Miami of Ohio has been on a torching tour with their only losses being Cincinnati and the powerhouse of Toledo. This spread simply isn’t large enough to reflect how dominant Miami of Ohio has been.

5-5 CMU heads to the worst state in the country to take on the 7-3 Ohio university. CMU has been perfectly average this year, meanwhile Ohio has put up some really solid games this year. Ohio still has an outside chance to make a run at the MAC title so I expect them to put the pedal to the medal and make a big statement win at home.
