Napoli Hosting Real Madrid Highlights Tuesday’s Champions League Slate
The Champions League is back and it’s full of bets that we love. We take you through all eight matches and hit you with our best bet for each of Tuesday’s fixtures for Match Day 2.
Group A Champions League Best Bets
Bayern Munich TT O2.5 (-130) at Copenhagen:
Bayern’s attack has been off to a high-flying start after the addition of Harry Kane. The German champions have 20 goals scored in six league matches and put another four past Man United in their group stage opener. Copenhagen was tough at home last season in the UCL with three draws. However, we like this Bayern side to breach the Copenhagen defense early and often.
Galatasaray +1.5 (-135) at Manchester United:
United has struggled to open the season both on the pitch and off it with plenty of drama. They’re coming off a disappointing 1-0 loss against Crystal Palace and now host a Galatasaray side that hasn’t lost in 15 straight matches. We’re not saying the Turkish side will win this or even that United won’t win. All we need is for the road side to keep it close and we believe they can.

Group B (Champions League October 2023) Bets
Arsenal ML & Over 1.5 (-105) at Lens:
After a sheepish start to the season, Arsenal are finally rolling with a few 4+ goal wins in their last 4 matches. Lens have started to show some life in Ligue 1 with a pair of wins in their last 2 matches that has moved them out of the relegation zone (for now). Arsenal will still be too much to handle for the French side and Arsenal’s demolition tour should continue today with an easy multi-goal win for the Gunners.
PSV ML (-105) vs Sevilla:
PSV is off to a perfect start in the Dutch Eredivisie with 21 points in 7 matches. In the process they’ve scored 23 goals and allowed just 2. They were humbled 4-0 at Arsenal in the group stage opener. But, that was London and this is Eindhoven. Meanwhile, Sevilla is off to a slow start in La Liga and couldn’t defend their home turf in a 1-1 draw vs Lens to open the group. We like the Dutch side in this one.
Champion’s League Group C Matchups
Union Berlin ML (-105) vs Braga:
Union Berlin are on a 5 match losing streak that would make even the most ardent supporter nervous going into this “must win” match vs Braga. The stakes are clear: a loss here in what would presumably be their easiest fixture in the group stage would doom their Champions League season well before it ever really began. It could end up being a tight one but the 12th man in the stadium will be enough of an edge to help get Union Berlin across the finish line.
Napoli DNB (-105) vs Real Madrid:
This is one of the toughest calls of the entire match day. We can see this one going 0-0, 3-3 or anywhere in between. This Madrid team doesn’t feel as dominant as years gone by, yet there they are top of the La Liga table with just one loss in the Madrid Derby a week ago. Napoli got off to a slow start, but has rebounded nicely after the Osimhen social media incident. Rudi Garcia makes us a little uneasy, but with Khvicha Kvaratskheli getting back on the scoresheet and Osimhen being Osimhen we think the Italians can get it done at home.
Group D Champion’s League Soccer Sports Betting Picks
Inter Milan ML & Over 1.5 (+110) vs Benfica:
Inter had a hiccup in their group stage opener against Real Sociedad–only managing a draw in Spain. This time with the match at the San Siro, we expect last year’s finalists to be sharper this time around. Benfica will be desperate for points after a shock home loss to Salzburg, but Inter should be prepared to stifle the Portuguese side’s attack and score a few goals of their own. So, we’re parlaying the moneyline and over 1.5.
Salzburg DNB (+115) vs Real Socieadad:
We went back and forth a little on this one, but in the end we’re leaning toward the home side. Sociedad held Inter to an impressive 1-1 draw in Spain to open the group stage, while Salzburg had a shock 2-0 win at Benfica. That was one of the surprise results of the opening set of fixtures. Now, they’re on home turf and should be confident.
