Every day we get closer and closer to football season and it makes me very excited. Over the past few weeks I broke down each division in the NFC to try and predict how things would play out. I looked at the most important roster changes for each team in the conference and then discussed where they would finish in the division and what their record would be. Check those out at these links: West, North, South, East. However, now is the time where I test my expertise and skills and give you all my full NFL predictions. That’s right, the final record for each team, the playoff outcomes, and my award predictions all in one spot. Let me know what you think on Twitter @DeejHHSports.

It is a lot of work, but this is the kind of stuff that I truly love. I am also super curious to hear from you all! Whether I am spot on with what you think, or way off, let me know in the comments or on Twitter. Anyway, let’s get into it!

Awards:

NFL MVP: Justin Herbert, +900

NFL Defensive Player of the Year: Nick Bosa, +1400

NFL Comeback Player of the Year: Travis Etienne +3000

NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year: Breece Hall, +1200

NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year: Travon Walker, +1100

Predicting the outcomes of the awards the NFL gives out every year is pretty difficult. However, that does not mean it’s not fun to bet on. As the year goes on I may play a few more players for each award, but as of right now I am focusing on one winner. As for MVP, I think the Chargers and Justin Herbert are primed for a great season. He had an MVP beginning to last year and as long as the Chargers make the playoffs in that tough AFC West, Herbert has a great shot for King of the NFL. Defensively, Nick Bosa has the talent to take over any game. If he can reach his mark of 19.5 sacks last year and take the Niners into the playoffs, Bosa has a great shot to take home Defensive POTY. Did I mention he is also in a contract year? Lastly, I think the young guns of Etienne, Breece Hall, and Travon Walker manage to take home their respective awards.

Playoff Bracket:

NFC Seeding:

Rams (+650 to be 1st seed)
Buccaneers
Packers
Eagles
Niners
Cowboys
Panthers

AFC Seeding:

Bills (+280 to be 1st seed)
Chiefs
Bengals
Colts
Chargers
Raiders
Ravens

NFC Champion: Buccaneers +340

AFC Champion: Bills +350

Projected Playoff Bracket

Super Bowl Champion: Tampa Bay Buccaneers +750

A few notes on my playoff bracket before I discuss the Bucs:

  • I expect the AFC West to shine in the playoffs
  • The Bills are due to make it back to the Super Bowl
  • The Eagles constantly disappoint in the playoffs, and the 49ers would be a better team
  • The Niners could upset a team they play very well against and very often
  • In my opinion it is Tom’s and the Bucs conference to lose

As much as I have been a Tom Brady hater most of my life, I can easily say he is the best NFL QB and player of all time. He has an improved offense, incredible defense, and the perfect script to end his illustrious career with an eighth ring. Bet on Brady because he usually delivers. He has the spotlight this year, I expect he will shine bright…again.
